I’ve been telling everyone who’s interested that my epic, long-running series with Olivier Ledroit, Requiem Vampire Knight, will end on Volume 13. But as I was writing the script, it was getting longer and longer, because Olivier and I have so much material that we want to include. The script hit 80+ pages, and that’s even before Olivier gets his hands on it and starts adding extra bits and pieces! So we decided it was far better to give the material the space it needed to breathe. That means the series gets an extra Volume, so 14 it is!
Olivier has already begun work on Volume 13, so our publishers Glenat should release it some time towards the end of 2026. And of course here at Millsverse, we will immediately follow with an English language e-book edition.
So what’s next? Well, I’ve already started working on two spin-off stories: Otto Vampire Knight and Elizabeth Bathory Vampire Knight.
I’ve written about Otto and the artist, Thim Montaigne, and a story we did together for Hellfest, here. And here is a piece I wrote about Bathory and artist Sebastien Grenier. I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with two more top French artists.
